SXSW starts today and you can feel the energy in the air! (even though it's presently raining)...
If you ARE in town, you will most likely make your way over to SOUTH CONGRESS at some point.
I live steps from this great street... here are some of my favorite places you should stop by between viewing films, sitting in on panels or hearing some great LIVE music!
Start your day with a coffee and a breakfast taco! Jo's coffee...
Take a little time to walk in and browse the unusual at Uncommon Objects...
Grab a little candy for the next feature at possibly the best candy store in the world....
Also serves ice cream...
Ready for lunch? Have an artisan grilled cheese at the BURRO food trailer.... pick your cheese, your bread and your spread... soooo good!
Observe the weirdness that just arrived overnight... Is this a dealership? It wasn't here yesterday!
Grab a beer & some queso on GUERO'S Patio and watch all the passersby. You may just spot a celebrity or two...
You too will wait in the LONG line that surounds HOPDODDY for beers and a burger... It's that good. My favorite is the Mexican vanilla milkshake.
And finally, it hasn't moved, It's now a permanent fixture on South Congress -Hey Cupcake!
